October 2nd
Not too cold today and no rain.
Cleaning up stairs today, got all done four thirty started ten thirty.
Did a bit more of the multi teddy going well, nearly finished. Just need to stuff it.
3rd
Cleaned down stairs today. Paul cleaning the car which took all day.
Started knitting a Mickey mouse and a Minnie mouse. I made a veg lasagna for tea it was very good. If I make a veg one Andrew has some. He is vegetarian and has bean since he was two.
6th
Started doing Lindsay's curtains again going well just need the grommets now and they will be finished.
A lot of rain over night I was pleased as every where is so dry.
7th
Rain in the morning so Luna and I held on for a bit to go for our walk. She did not like it and kept pawing me to go. About an hour later we went still raining a bit but ok. We had a good walk as usual.
8th
My Granddaughter Jamie-Lee has hurt her ankle not broken, but muscle damage, very swollen so she is off school for a few days.
10th
I was not going to do too much today, but ended up cleaning through down stairs. Bit more knitting of the Mickey mouse going well.
Quite a chilly day around 10C sun later but very windy. Chinese for tea very nice.
11th
Not feeling the best today hot/cold dull pain all over body hot to touch. I can not control my body heat, this is to do with the RSD I have. I can be very cold or very hot. Changing very quick from one to the other. Later I developed a bad head ache.
12th
Feeling a bit better not as hot but still more pain than I would like. I did the ironing around an hour.
Went across to the chemist to get Paul's prescription which they said was ready, still waited fifty minutes for it. Everyone in there said they had bean waiting ages after getting a text saying that it was ready. What I want to know is, whos are the bags hanging up ready for collection?
15th
Luna had her haircut today she looks so tiny a lot of fur came off her. Maxine who clips her, says every time she she is finished she looks different in colour.
My Great Granddaughter was born today Skyla Rose to Tommy-Lee and Keira, weighing 5lb- 8ozs. All doing well, congratulations to the new family
18th
Sewing up a teddy I have made for Skyla Pictures later when complete. Having a bit of a rest day as still not feeling the best. IBS playing up now pain and discomfort, feeling full after a little meal. Hopefully it will be short lived.
20th
Andrew and I went for a walk on the common in the afternoon and we saw a deer just eating and minding its own business. Not bothered by us at all.Also two new big birds flying around. Looking them up on the internet and I think they were red kites.
22nd
Today was a special day as Tommy-Lee and Kiera brought round baby Skyla-Rose. She is tiny but so beautiful perfect in every way. Tommy-Lee and Kiera are I think are going to be good parents. The pram they have is lovely. Gave them the little things I have made plus a few extra treats.
Sweets for both of them.
I did not feel too well today but kept it to myself. My right cheek was very flushed, a danger sign for me. I just feel very drained and tired so hopefully that's all.
23rd
Ironing and a bit of knitting too. Still not feeling too good- head ache and a stiff neck today.
Very windy some storm coming over from America I think. Rain later too.
Jenny here in the afternoon, good to see her. She has her hair done just down the road, which looked good as usual. A good chat and cup of tea. When it was time for her to go, it was chucking it down. Her car was quite away from the house. I lent her an umbrella hopefully it did not blow away.
24th
Sewing together Mickey Mouse. I do not enjoy sewing up the dolls and things I make. I love knitting them but sewing up, no. There are lots of bits to him as well. Ten bits just to the face/head. To get the proper look it needs to be done right, I often redo things if not pleased with them. Sewing up can take a long time with dolls, especially the one that are well know as the features have to be right. When finished will put a picture.
25th
Cleaning down stairs today. I feel like me today so that's good. Bit more of Mickey Mouse going well but taking time. My Dad used to say if a job worth doing its worth doing well. I think he is right.
Changed the bedding and washed the quilt cover, dried very fast as still very windy. Sheet will be done with the other whites after a over night soak.
26th
Head ache around eyes and back of my head, body pain back as well. More washing and a quick clean round. Managed a bit more of Mickey Mouse going good.When finished there is Minnie Mouse to do as well.
28th
Cleaning upstairs today got two rooms done. Paul was in the computer room so I will do that tomorrow hopefully.
Having a bit of a problem with my hips. I have OSTEOPROSIS so at times have pain in my hips other places too but hips are the worst. The hip joints are loose and move a bit, causing a lot of pain and spasms plus nerve pain shooting down my legs, or up my back and when really bad, neck and head pain also.
29th
Finished off the bedrooms so all clean upstairs.
My friend Ursula came round she just lives a few doors away. Good to have a chat with her.
Pain from hips still a lot of pain from sitting to standing shooting pain that makes my eyes water.
31st
A bad day pain, and more pain. When I get off my chair the pain shoots down my legs and across my back. When stood not too bad the walk on the common was painful, but Luna still had her play with her ball. Picking it up was the worst bit.
Well that it for another Blog hope its still interesting reading. I do not go many places apart from in town shopping, and the common of course so not a lot to tell. Maybe be a holiday next year?
